Deadline for Big 8 results to be turned in to the Herald is Noon on Mondays. All names are spelled as turned in on the score sheets. If your school’s results are not listed it is because they have not turned in their results to the Herald. Scorekeepers please fill out all areas of the score sheet including quarter by quarter score and first and last names of players. Only results with full names of players from both teams and their scoring and stats will be published.

Any team needing Big 8 Report stat sheets used to turn in results can get them by emailing David Lowrie at dlowrie@blomand.net or by picking them up at the Grundy County Herald office.

Girls

Palmer 30 – Pelham 13

The Lady Bulldogs played strong from start to finish to take this win over the Lady Tigers. Cheyenne Nunley led Palmer with 18 points. MyKenzie Reeves followed with 6. Kassidy Turner scored 3. Kristen Stiefel had 2 and Shana Wideman scored 1.

Meleah Stevens topped Pelham with 8 points. Hannah Buckner scored 5.

Boys

Swiss 59 – Pelham 17

The Wildcats out clawed the Tigers to take this win. Kollyn Cooper and Ethan Nunley led Swiss with 15 points and one three each. Josh Wingo scored 8. Evan Nunley had 7 with a three. Braden Sanders and Chris Nance scored 5 each with Nance hitting a three. Nathan Coffelt and Daniel Green scored two points each.

Kenzie Hill led Pelham with 15 points. Jaden Sanders scored 2.

Palmer 41 – Pelham 13

The Bulldogs rolled to another big win with a dominant first half over the Tigers. Palmer led 32-2 at the half. Lukas Borne led Palmer with 16 points. Jacob Peoples and Kole Smith followed with 10 each with Peoples hitting a three pointer. Tyler White also hit a three pointer. Griffyn Rogers scored 2 points.

Kenzie Hill led Pelham with 11 points. Hunter Northcutt scored 2.

Swiss 70 – Tracy 56

Up 49-43 after three quarters the Wildcats used a 21-13 fourth quarter to pull away from the Eagles. Kollyn Cooper led Swiss with 24 points including two threes. Ethan Nunley followed with 18. Braden Sanders scored 14. Josh Wingo scored 8. Evan Nunley had 6 off two threes.

Dakota Hardin led Tracy City with 24 points. Johnnie Adkins scored 16 with a three. Eli Tipton had 9 off three treys. Gage Reeves hit a three pointer. Dalton Fults and Zane Conry scored 2 points each.
