Monteagle 21 – Pelham 20
The Lady Hornets and Lady Tigers kept it close the entire game. It was a tie game at the half 12-12. Monteagle stretched their lead to 18-12 by the end of the third quarter. Pelham made a run in the fourth quarter outscoring Monteagle but fell short by one at the final buzzer.
Breezy Rollins led the Monteagle Lady Hornets with eight points. Kathlynn Lusk followed with five points. Kendal Winton scored four points. Cassie Ladd and Mallorie Meeks had two points.
Katie Davidson led the Pelham Lady Tigers with eight points. Torri Taylor followed with six points. Emily Hill scored four points and Haivenly Doss had two points.
Palmer 35 – Pelham 16
The Lady Bulldogs had a 9-4 lead at the half and held off the Lady Tigers the rest of the game for the win. Maci Freeman led the Palmer Lady Bulldogs with 19 points. Sophie Layne scored eight points. Shanea Wideman had five points. Ayla Hoy scored two points and Kasadee Crabtree tossed in one point.
Torri Taylor and Chloe Wenger scored four points each for the Pelham Lady Tigers. Kati Davis, Heavenee Parks, Haivenly Doss, and Emily Hill all had two points each.
Swiss 31 – Palmer 29
It was a back and forth game between the two teams. The Lady Wildcats had a one point lead at the end of the first and a 17-13 lead at the half. The Lady Bulldogs made a run in the third to take a 22-19 lead. At the final buzzer, the Lady Wildcats had a 31-29 lead for the win.
Jaycie Grooms led the Swiss Lady Wildcats with seven points. Briley Dempsey, Maggie Baskin, and Kimber Thomas all scored six points each. Peyton Meeks had four points and Alissa Dodson tossed in two points.
Maci Freeman led the Palmer Lady Bulldogs with 14 points. Sophie Layne followed with 10 points. Ayla Hoy scored five points.
Boys
Pelham 55 – Monteagle 32
The Tigers had a 29-21 lead at the half and continued the lead the entire game for the win. Chase Layne led the Pelham Tigers with 31 points. Lynden King scored 11 points. Peyton Price had seven points. Justin Jacobs scored four points and Reagan Hershman had two points.
Jacob Church led the Monteagle Hornets with 17 points. Hunter Hammond followed with nine points. Riley Hammond, Gauge Foshee, and Riley Taylor all scored two points each.
Pelham 57 – Palmer 35
The Tigers built up a 28-15 led at the half and held off the Bulldogs to notch the win. Peyton Price led the Pelham Tigers with 19 points. Justin Jacobs followed with 14 points. Lyden King scored 12 points. Chase Layne had six points. Hunter O’neal scored four points and Parker tossed in two points.
Levi Nance led the Palmer Bulldogs with 13 points. Ryder White followed with 10 points. Gunner Meeks and Bailey Totherow scored five points each. Paul Allen Wise tossed in two points.
Swiss 54 – Palmer 31
The Wildcats started out strong with a 27-12 lead at the half and cruised through the second half to pick up a win over the Bulldogs. Dawson Misiolek led the Swiss Wildcats with 15 points. Jordan Nance followed with eight points. Jacob Partain scored seven points. Ian Stotts notched six points. Matt Borne, Hunter Green, and Tristan Rollins all scored four points each. Clay Parker, Ethan Meeks, and Dylan Sanders all had two points each.
Levi Nance led the Palmer Bulldogs with 14 points. Bailey Totherow followed with nine points. Gunner Meeks scored four points. Paul Allen Wise and Joseph Wideman had two points each.
