A sheriff’s deputy became suspicious while patrolling the Ross Creek area and made contact with a vehicle operated by Nolan. Deputies found a number of suspected uncontrolled morphine pills, syringes, a weapon, and unfilled prescriptions.
Through the night and into the following day, authorities received more information that led them to execute a search warrant at Nolan’s residence on Wednesday. During that search, deputies made one warrant arrest and recovered around $20,000 in what is believed to be stolen property. Additionally, a number of pill bottles and prescriptions not belonging to anyone in the home were located.
Investigators will process all of the information and present the case to the next grand jury.
