The Coalmont 6U Aftershock baseball team ended its stellar season with a 31-0 record.
The team finished their perfect season with a championship win in the Valley Classic Tournament in Crossroads. The Aftershocks also brought home first place trophies in the Rumble in the Valley, Spring Fling and Whitwell tournaments.
“These boys have played their little hearts out and came out of it with a perfect season,” said Head Coach Natalie Meeks. “They scored a total of 606 runs and only allowed 192 runs to be scored on them. They are great kids and have great parents that always work with them and want them to get better.”
Meeks extended her appreciation to her assistant coaching team.
“A big thank you goes to all my assistant coaches,” she said. “Without their help, we couldn’t have done it.”
