The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office spent Friday morning, June 2, doing a property search at 2954 SR 56, in Tracy City, looking for clues that would give them more information into the disappearance of 35-year-old Dylan Winton. Winton was reported missing on March 16, 2017, and has not been heard from since.
“Leads have dwindled down in this case, so we felt it was best to start at the front of the investigation and make sure there isn’t anything we may have missed,” stated Sheriff Clint Shrum.
Investigators, with the consent of the property owner, searched the now unoccupied residence as well as a grid search of the property. The Sheriff’s Office asks if you know anything regarding Winton’s whereabouts you contact Captain Greg Higgins or Sgt. Josh King at 931-692-3466. There is a $1,000 reward for information that leads to his whereabouts.
Winton is described as 5’8″, and weighs 150 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. At the time he originally went missing, the Sheriff’s Office reported Winton is dependent on family members because he suffers from mental health issues. He is not known to be violent but may be in need of medical attention.
