On January 26, the Tracy Market was robbed at gunpoint. Tracy City officers were quick to respond to the store and were able to take one suspect into custody. Approximately $1,000 was taken along with some smokeless tobacco and cigarettes. With the assistance of the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office and the Monteagle Police Department, the other suspect was taken into custody on January 28. After further investigation, it was discovered that the two suspects, Ricky Copeland, II, and Kyle Greibel, were also responsible for the recent burglary of Mike’s Pit Stop. Both suspects were charged with armed robbery and burglary.
