Annual Swiss Heritage Celebration July 31

On July 31 the annual celebration of Swiss heritage in Grundy County will again be held at the Stocker-Stampfli Homestead in Gruetli-Laager. This years event will again feature "Die Musik Meister Band" of Murfreesboro. This well-known group of five musicians is led by Karen Yatuzis and has entertained thousands at different Octoberfest events around the country.

The music and event will start a 10:00 a.m. and conclude at 4:00 p.m. There will be food vendors selling an array of foods from bratwurst with sauerkraut, pork barbeque, Dutch oven cobbler and much more.
