Monteagle Mayor Marilyn Nixon along with member of the Monteagle Mountain Chamber of Commerce was present at the grand opening and ribbon cutting for Holy Smokes Barbeque. Co-owners Carl Snyder and Dennis and Terry Martin assisted Mayor Nixon with the official opening along with restaurant manager Bonnie Sauber and the Mud Gap Band kicked off the event with some country and early rock-a-billy music. "Cone join your friends and neighbors for lunch or dinner Sunday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. We are closed on Sunday," said Dennis and Terry Martin.
