Foutch, Meeks Sentenced; Campbell Remanded

The Circuit Court of Grundy County, under Judge Thomas Graham, issued sentences for Kelly Foutch and Labreeska Meeks on Friday, and James E. Campbell, Jr. was remanded to custody to serve his previously imposed sentence. All three defendants were charged in the forging of a will for Campbell’s father, James E. Campbell, Sr., in 2012.
At the hearing, Graham revoked Campbell’s bond and he was immediately remanded to custody to serve the sentence formerly levied. He was convicted of passing a forged instrument over $250,000 and conspiracy to commit theft over $250,00o, and sentenced to 11 years in prison. Campbell must pay fines totaling $35,000.
Kelly Foutch received 13 years and six months, and a $6,500 fine, for possession of a forged instrument over $250,000; 13 years and six months, and a $2,500 fine, for passing a forged instrument over $250,000; and two years, eight months, and 12 days, and a $1,500 fine, for conspiracy to commit theft over $250,000.
Labreeska Meeks received 13 years and six months, along with a $6,500 fine, for possession of a forged instrument over $250,000; 13 years, six months, and a $2,500 fine, for passing a forged document over $250,000; and seven years, two months, and 12 days, and a $1,500 fine, for conspiracy to commit theft over $250,000.
