John David Dickerson recently participated in two popular events in the Southeast: the Heel Crank Duathlon and the National Cornbread Festival.  At the Heel Crank Duathlon, John David ran three miles, biked sixteen miles, and ran three additional miles.  Out of the 400 competitors, he finished fifty-second overall and first in his age group.  In the National Cornbread Festival 5K, John David was the overall winner for the second year

    The GCHS Bass Team will hit the waters again Saturday for Yamaha’s Top 25 Championship of the Southeast TN B.A.S.S. High School Trail on Lake Guntersville out of the ramp at the dam in Jasper.       Grundy Baseball will host skills camps this summer for youth baseball players ages 5 through 13. There will be a throwing, fielding and base running camp June 1-3. On June 8-10, they will host a pitching or catching camp. On June 15-17, they will host a hitting camp. All camps will run from 3 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. and be held at the Grundy County High School baseball field.
