  • Community Invited To Play At GCHS

    The GCHS Drama class would like to invite the Grundy County community to the high school cafeteria on May 16 at 7:00 p.m. to enjoy a play, “Attack Of The Pom-Pom Zombies,” put on by the students. Tickets are $3 per person and children 5 and under are admitted free.

    With the Grundy County High School graduation of the Class of 2013 approaching, former graduates wanted to share their graduation day. The GCHS Class of 1949 began on May 5, with an invocation by Rev. R.M. Johnson followed by a salutatory by Nellie Pickett.     LEAPS students from Coalmont Elementary enjoyed a tour of a private plane owned by former Air Force pilot J.D.
