A Thank You

Traveling through your area this past Friday, we stopped at the Subway restaurant in Monteagle for lunch. My husband’s wallet dropped out of his pocket and was left sitting on the seat of the booth as we drove on to Tracy City. We discovered it was missing after stopping at the Dutch Maid Bakery and turned right around, praying, during what seemed like a much longer drive back to Monteagle.

    SPECIAL TO THE HERALD Allie Nunley Nora Blaylock, my great-grandmother, was born October 25, 1919, at her parent’s home in Hitchcock, Tennessee. Hitchcock is known today as Brockdell.
