Grundy Officers Graduate Law Enforcement Academy

Blount County Sheriff James L. Berrong has announced that Phillip Hobbs from the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office and Jared Nunley of the Tracy City Police Department were among the 30 recruits that recently graduated from the Sheriff’s Office tenth Basic Law Enforcement Academy.     The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security has announced a warning to citizens about a phone scam involving driver licenses. Several citizens in west Tennessee have reported receiving phone calls regarding an issue with their 2012-2013 driver license renewals.
