He was born in Palmer, TN on December 6, 1931 to James Robert “Bob” and Allie Cagle Blaylock who preceded him in death along with his son, Eckerd Blaylock; sisters, Geneva Pemberton and Lois Dykes. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Blaylock; daughter, Melba Diane McGee; brother, Robert Howell (Betty) Blaylock; caregivers, Tony and Buffy Anderson.
MELTON, DAWN, MARIE, age 38, of Chattanooga, TN, passed away Friday, November 22, 2013 in Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. She was a 1993 graduate of Grundy County High School and was a standout basketball player for the Lady Jackets.
