The Layers Of Our Lives

Posted on April 30, 2013 at 2:41 pm

For some reason, I’ve been thinking about recycling today. I have a dear friend who recycles everything! She has bins for paper, one for plastic, one for cans, and probably uses her table scraps to make compost for her flowers and garden area. Recycling is a good way to keep our planet healthy. • “The Fabric Of Our Lives”

Posted on April 9, 2013 at 2:07 pm

I recently sold my mother’s house which necessitated clearing out the 96 years of accumulation of her life. Although my brothers had spent several days clearing out an enormous part of the items in her closets and garage storage, there was still a part left for me to do – the final finishing part. One of my brothers and I still had furniture there which had to be removed, and

  • “Painful”

Posted on March 12, 2013 at 2:34 pm

You know that pain is a prevalent thing in life. It seems that no matter what you do, or where you go, some degree of pain may accompany you on your trip. You think I’m being silly, don’t you, but let’s think about it. If you were raised in a family that always planted a garden in the summer, there certainly was a lot of pain associated with that. • “Firsts”

Posted on February 5, 2013 at 1:37 pm

I have been thinking about the many “FIRSTS” we’ve had in our lives lately. In August we welcomed our FIRST grand-daughter, Gracyn Elizabeth, into our family, and last week Lauren had her FIRST child, Thomas Cooper. Now those two weren’t our FIRST grand-children by far, for we now have a total of six of our very own  FIRST EDITIONS, for truly each child is like no other; they’re really FIRST
