Ethan Myers – Third Grade – Monteagle
I am thankful for many things this year. I am thankful for my family because they are there when I start to cry or when I am hurt. My mom’s the sweetest mother in the world. She’s always there for me. My dad is the best cook ever. Nobody can top him and he is strong and loving. My little sister is sweet and I love her. She’s the best little sister in the world. If I am having a bad day, I know they will still love me. These are just a few of the things that I am thankful for.
Alexis Goff – Fourth Grade – Palmer
I am thankful for the Lord, friends, family, freedom, food, and shelter. The Lord because He gave me life; friends because they comfort me when I need it; family because they keep me safe; freedom because Army people fought for us; and food because I can eat and not starve to death. And finally, shelter because it keeps me safe and warm. That is what I am thankful for and why.
Kameryn Dickerson – Fifth Grade – North
I am thankful for all my family. I thank everybody for trying to help my nanny with breast cancer. I go to her grave and thank her for being my nana. I’m always thankful for my family and my life, the food I eat, the bed I sleep in, the house I live in, the presents I get for Christmas and I’m thankful my sisters and brother and nieces and nephews, and dad, mom, and papa.
Jasmine Anderson – Sixth Grade – Swiss
I am thankful for 4-H. In 4-H we have things to do like camping, poster contest, fundraisers, and the poultry contest. You get to raise chickens and lambs with the winner in the newspaper. You will love Ms. Sarah Malone. There are many things to do in 4-H and I’m am nuts about 4-H.
Makayla McGee – Sixth Grade – North
I am thankful for my friends and family. I used to think that if you had a new car every week, were rich, or were more popular than everyone else it was something to be thankful for and proud. I realized, in the long run, that doesn’t matter. What matters is my friends and family.
Kendra Layman – Seventh Grade – Palmer
I am thankful for everyone in life. I’m very fortunate for my family, friends, and everyone that influences me. I am also thankful for all the people who take dangerous jobs to protect us like soldiers, firefighters, and policemen.
Taylor Buckner – Eighth Grade – Pelham
I am thankful for my strong and caring mother, Rebekah Nolan and my loving father, Wally Nolan, my brother, Austin Nolan for looking out for me, always having my back, and being an amazing role model. I’m thankful for Misti Sanders. Even though she passed away, she taught me to never give up and to keep going. Each step may get harder, but the view is beautiful at the top. Thank you Misti for always watching over me.
Tiffany Nolan – Eighth Grade – Palmer
