Girls: North 28 – Palmer 22
The Lady Warriors used a 13-4 fourth quarter to score the comeback win over the Lady Bulldogs. Krista Sweeton led North with eight points. Chelsey King and Taylor Meeks scored six each. Sarah Barrett tossed in four. Emma Seagroves and Ericka Childers had two each. Tiffany Nolan led Palmer with 11. Ariel Caldwell scored seven. Olivia Payne had four.
Swiss 49 – Monteagle 8
The Lady Wildcats were just too much for the Lady Hornets. Teah Bosio led Swiss with 15 points. Kristin Weaver followed with 12 including two threes. Caitlyn Crabtree scored nine with a three. Megan Shrum had five points. Michelle McDaniel had four points and Sarah Johnson had two. Kara Meeks led Monteagle with four points. Shayla Bennett and Blair Foshee scored two each.
Pelham 31 – SAS 28
The Lady Tigers won a close game over the Lady Mountain Lions by hitting their free throws. Lacy Nunley led Pelham with 19 points including hitting 9 of 12 from the line. Emily Parks followed with eight. Kallie Hill and Josie Payne scored two each. Kate Butler led St. Andrews-Sewanee with eight points. Lexie Laurendine and Anna Post scored six each. Mariel Rink tossed in four. Lucy Lancaster and Tessa Shackelford scored two each.
Swiss 51 – Pelham 13
The Lady Wildcats rolled to another big win this time over the Lady Tigers at Swiss Monday night. Teah Bosio led Swiss with 25 points including three threes. Kristin Weaver followed with 19 and also hit three treys. Caitlyn Crabtree nailed a three. Sarah Johnson and Bailey Baker scored two points each. Emily Parks led Pelham with seven points. Lacy Nunley followed with six.
Boys: Palmer 39 – North 21
The Bulldogs won the first three quarters, leading 39-14 after three, and went on to the win over the Warriors. Trey Hampton led Palmer with 28 points. Alec Turner followed with four. Griffyn Rogers hit a three pointer. Jacob Peoples and Lukas Borne scored two points each. Thomas Roberts led North with six points. Tyler Patrick and Aaron Comer scored four points each. Nathaniel Myers, Dustin Kreps and Lucas Woodlee all had two points. Cason King added one point.
Swiss 52 – Monteagle 47
It was nip and tuck the whole night but the Wildcats bested the Hornets by five. Josh Nance led Swiss with 19 points. Josh Wingo followed with 15. Kollyn Cooper had nine with a three pointer. Ethan Nunley had five with a three. Nathan Coffelt added four points. Jacob Thomas and Blane Harris scored 13 points each with Thomas nailing two threes and Harris hitting one. Corbin Lusk was also in double digits with 10 points. Grayson Lawson scored five. Colby Melton had four and Jacob Williams had two.
Swiss 36 – Pelham 20
The Wildcats held a slim 10-7 lead after one quarter over the Tigers but slowly pulled away in the second on their way to the win. Josh Nance led Swiss with 17 points. Josh Wingo followed with eight. Kollyn Cooper scored six. Nathan Coffelt had five with a three pointer. Sebastian Ledford, Kenzie Hill and Jon Brown led Pelham with six points each with Brown notching his on three pointers. A.J. Barnes scored two points.
