Drugs Found During Domestic Disturbance Call
On July 22, the Tracy City Police Department assisted the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office in responding to a domestic disturbance call. During the process of investigating the call, Officer Derrick Morrison of the Tracy City Police Department, and Deputy Jared Nunley of the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office found six marijuana plants growing on the property. The plants were spaced out throughout the backyard of the property and varied in size. Upon further search of the inside of the residence, other units from both departments also found various other drugs and drug paraphernalia. A suspect, whose name cannot be released due to an ongoing investigation, was taken into custody and transported to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office.
