JACKSON, WILLIAM “EDDIE”, age 58, of Sherwood, TN, departed this life Sunday, April 7, 2013 at Emerald-Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee. He died in Faith. He was an artist loving to draw as well as hunt. Mr. Jackson was disabled in 1996 due to a stroke but before becoming disabled he was a logger. He was a loving, and caring father, brother, uncle and cousin. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by parents John William and Elizabeth Jackson; brother, Mickey Jackson; and sister, Johnnie Jackson. He is survived by his son, Kyllie Jackson of Tracy City; step-daughters, Ann Miller of Huntsville, Ala. and Tina Krahn of Manchester; brothers, Stanley Jackson of Ider, Ala. and Robert (Carol) Jackson of Sherwood, TN; sisters; Fran (Jack) Nance of Sherwood and Camie (Jerry) Olds of Sherwood; aunts, Judy (Miles) Thomas of Nashville and Kate Lappin of Sherwood; and one uncle, Charles Morris of Sherwood; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held April 9 at Sherwood Apostolic Church of Christ with Sister Linda Barnes officiating. Interment was in Mountain View Cemetery in Sherwood. ROBERTSON, WILLIAM, A., 82, of Louisville, KY, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013 at his residence. Born September 1, 1930 in Indianapolis, IN, the only child born to Paul and Desse Robertson. Bill retired from his job as a Compliance Officer with the United States Department of Agriculture and was a Korean War veteran. He was a member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church where he was involved in many activities. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Norma Mae Tate Robertson. He is survived by his son, David A. Robertson (Debbie), of WI; daughter, Karen Sue Rider, of MI; and grandchildren, Robert Allen Rider and David Andrew Rider. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 9. Burial was in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Matthews United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society. PACK, THOMAS, G., age 83, of Sewanee, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Emerald Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee, surrounded by his family. He was a master carpenter and cabinetmaker, retiring from the University of the South after 41 years of service. He was born January 15, 1930 to the late James Cecil and Ella Parson Pack. He is also preceded in death by his 2 infant sons, Mark and Edward Pack; three sisters and five brothers. Survivors include his loving wife Ann Elizabeth Pack; daughters and son-in-laws, Rita (Joe) Milner and Jan (David) Smith; four grandchildren, April (Chris) Gipson, Kyle Caldwell, Joseph Milner (Brooke), and Bradley Caldwell; one great grandson, Mason Milner; brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 13 in the chapel of Cumberland Funeral Home with Brother James Taylor and Pastor Robert Johnson officiating. Burial was in Harrison Cemetery, Sewanee, TN. SWIFT, KEN, 56, of Coalmont, TN, died Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Survivors include his sister, Jan (William) Lowe; two brothers, Ronnie Swift and Sandy (Lori) Swift; nephew, Daniel Whitworth and a host of loving family and lifelong devoted friends.
