ODOM, ANNA, BELL, 78, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, February 12, 2013. She was a member of the Laager Congregational Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Matthew and Virginia Louise Smartt King, husband, Dewey “Joe” Odom; sons, Raven and Sam Childress; sister, Johnnie Rexford. She is survived by her daughters, Anna Sue “Susie” (David) Trussell and Marsha (Neal) Caldwell; sons, Roger Chaffee, Danny (Robin) Odom, Wade (Twana) Odom and Eddie Odom; sisters, Hope (Late Jimmy) Cox, Linda (Late Steve) Roberts, Pam (Rex) Stone and Reba (Charlie) Freeman; brothers, F.M. (Late Eva) King, Alfred Earl (Wilma) King and Harold (Doris) King; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a host of loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday, February 14 in the funeral home chapel with Minister Jacob Anderson officiating. Burial was in Altamont Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, TN.

NUNLEY, JUANITA, CAMPBELL, 70, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013. She was born in Coalmont on January 13, 1943 to Edward and Della Campbell who preceded her in death along with her brothers, Check, Duxie and J. C. Campbell; sister, Aneda Campbell; husband, Carl D. Nunley. She is survived by her daughters, Nadine (Joey) King, Lila Seagroves; sons, John, Johnny, and Mark Campbell; brothers, Bob Alton (Dorothy) Campbell and Estes (Teresa) Campbell; sisters, Mildred Bean and Brenda Sue Kilgore; grandchildren, Annie, Matthew, Kevin, C.J., Kayla and Sucetta; several loving nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services were held Monday, February 18 at the Pine Hill Cemetery in the Pocket Community with Minister Randy King officiating.  Arrangements were made by Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN.

PATRICK, DAVID, FRANKLIN, age 62, of Tracy City, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2012 at Emerald Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee, Tennessee, He is preceded in death by his sons, Dewayne and David Patrick; parents, Elmer Franklin and Martha Flora Patrick. Survivors include his son, Bobby Joe Patrick, Tracy City, TN; step-children, Johnny Wayne Nunley and Lisa Hampton; sisters, Barbara J. Nunley and Fay Cannon, both of Tracy City; two grandchildren, Hannah and Bobby (Bubba). Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 20 in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Larry Campbell officiating. BROWN, CARL, B., age 78, of Hillsboro, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013 at his daughter’s home with his family by his side. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Pelham and was preceded in death by his wife, Violet King Brown; brothers, Hershel and Paul Brown, and was a son of the late Ulysses Grant Brown and Miriam Lautzenheiser Brown. Survivors include his children Alan (Connie) Brown of Scottsboro, AL and Joyce Brown of Sewanee, TN; grandchildren, Dennise (Danny) Foshee, Jody (Chandler) Green, and Greg (Misty) Dolberry; great grandchildren, Gauge, Blair, Blake, Brooke, and Dreke; brother, Grant Brown of Pelham; sisters, Flona Lee Burnett of Pelham, Faye Woodall of Winchester, and Lotus Douglas of Tullahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Services were held Tuesday, February 19 in the funeral home chapel with Charlie Brown officiating. Burial was in Summerfield Cemetery. FULTS, BETTY, 74, passed away at her home Monday, February 18, 2013 surrounded by her family and friends. She was born in Whitwell on October 14, 1938 to Jim and Lucy Burnett Rollins who preceded her in death along with her husband of 51 years, Earl F. Fults; brothers, Walter, Clarence and Hershel Rollins.  She is survived by her daughters, Sherry (Thurman) Keener and Rita (Bud) Keener; brother, William (Kriss) Rollins, Newark, Ohio; sister, Nellie Kirkendoll, Pulaski, TN; grandchildren, Shandra Keener, Amanda (Kevin) Grant and Eric Keener; special great grandson, Caplain “J.C.” Beene; several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 21 in the funeral home chapel with Minister Dennis Rollins and Philip Fults officiating with burial to follow in Brown’s Chapel Cemetery.  Arrangements were made by Layne Funeral Home, Palmer, TN.
