Recently, Monteagle Elementary was presented a donation from Chapman’s Chapel Nazarene Church in Pelham. The church held a fundraising event in January and was gracious enough to give Monteagle School a $500 donation from the funds raised. Pictured are Randy Butner, the event organizer, Monteagle Elementary Principal Janet Layne, and Robbie Cain, the pastor of Chapman’s Chapel. Randy is very active in the school’s PTO and other school functions, along with his wife, Rhonda, who is the school secretary. The staff and students wish to express sincere appreciation for the church’s generosity.
