The UT Extension, Grundy County Office would like to welcome Ms. Katie Kite as the newest member of Grundy County Extension Staff. Katie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Studies from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and an Associate’s Degree from Cleveland State Community College. She has experience in nutrition, social work, child and family care, and financial management. She will be a strong part of the Extension team in Grundy County as the “new” Extension Agent, Family Consumer Sciences (FCS). Katie illustrates a very positive attitude, much enthusiasm, and the proper knowledge that will be needed to continue a successful FCS program. She expresses great enthusiasm in joining the University Of Tennessee Institute Of Agriculture as the Agent for Family and Consumer Science here in Grundy County. The UT Extension Office offers programs in 4-H Youth Development, Agriculture, Resource Development, Family and Consumer Sciences, and the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program.
