He was born in Altamont, Tennessee on May 9, 1929 to Allen and Octa Whitman Lockhart who preceded him in death along with his brothers, C.B. “Kink” and George “Buck” Lockhart; sister, Charity Norris. He is survived by his wife, Margaret McCutcheon Lockhart; daughters, Karen Myers and Kathy Davis of Murfreesboro; sons, Keith (Gail) Lockhart, Marietta, GA, Kenneth (Kelly) Lockhart, Murfreesboro and Karl (Myra) Lockhart of Randolph, AL; sisters, Geneva “Sister” Campbell, Stella Sennens Turner and Veola Hiett; brothers, Andy (Blondell) Lockhart; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. MEEKS, WILLIE, DEE, 76, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013. He was the owner operator of Meeks Service Station in Gruetli-Laager locally known as the “Pentagon.” He was a member of the Collins Church of Christ and was born in Palmer on March 27, 1936 to Elihugh and Alma Jean Meeks who preceded him in death along with his sister, Shirley Joyce Meeks. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Layne Meeks; daughter, Teresa (Richard) Layne; sons, Jimmy (Debbie) Meeks, Anthony Meeks and Rick (Laura) Meeks; sisters, Carol Long and Wilma Condra; grandchildren, Kyra (Billy) Campbell, Brandon Layne, Deanna Meeks, Hayden Meeks and Morgan Meeks; step-grandchildren, Shelbi (Labron) Graham, Colby and KayLee Newsom; great grandchildren, Destiny Campbell and Brevin Layne. Funeral services were held Monday, January 14 in the funeral home chapel with Nathan Sanders and Phillip Fults officiating. Burial was in Fall Creek Cemetery. GREEN, KENNETH, age 73, of the Pryor Ridge community in Tracy City, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013 in Park Ridge Medical Center in Chattanooga. He was a retired coalminer, son of the late Dan Green and Amanda O’Neal Green. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phylis Green; sister, Annie Shrum. He was born March 17, 1966 in Abilene, TX and was preceded in death by his grandparents, Allie Tate and Andrew Anderson of Tracy City; mother, Jean Anderson Dye; and brother William Kendall Cleek, II. He was a carpenter and worked with his brother in the Arlington, Texas area. She was born in Palmer, Tennessee on June 20, 1937 to Ralph and Marlee Campbell Gholston who preceded her in death along with her sister, Judy Ann Gholston. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Richard E. Rollins; son, Dennis Rollins; other surviving family members, Betty (Johnny) Harrison, Leonard (Anna) and Phillip (Marlin) Rollins; several nieces and nephews.
