MINKLER, DOROTHY, INGMAN, age 90, of Tracy City, died November 28, 2012, at her home. She was born March 20, 1922, in Douglas, Ariz., to Grace Lutman Ingman and Ray Hansbrough Ingman. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jackson D. Minkler; and her brother, Arthur Ray Ingman. She is survived by her children, Dwight Goldwinde of Kunming, China; Karen (Sven) Tonisson of Conondale, Queensland, Australia, and Ray Ingman (April) Minkler of Tracy City; second cousin, Ruth Alice Ray of Florida; sister-in-law Christine (Charles) Jackson; one granddaughter, one great granddaughter, one great grandson, two nieces, one great niece and six great nephews. Her body will be cremated, in accordance with her wishes; her ashes will be scattered in the same place as were those of her mother and father. No services are planned. Arrangements were made by Watson-North Funeral Home, Winchester, TN.

ONDRIZEK, WALTER, EARL, 92, of the Cumberland Heights Community passed away at his home Wednesday, December 5, 2012. He was a member of the Cumberland Heights Seventh Day Adventist Church where he served as Head Deacon. He was a surgical technician working in hospitals in Massachusetts, Kentucky and Tennessee. He was born in Strongstown, PA on April 20, 1920 to Joseph and Bertha Patterson Ondrizek who preceded him in death along with his brothers, Ken Andrews, Herb and Roy Ondrizek. He is survived by his wife, Nellie Wilson Ondrizek; son, Walter A. Ondrizek of Pennsylvania; daughters, Karen (Robert) Templeton and Eileen (Russell) Thompson of Virginia and Maxine (Phil) Lang of North Carolina; sister, Lois McKnight, Altamont; brother, Clyde (Lettie) Ondrizek of Ohio; a host of loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Saturday, December 8 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jeff Walper and Pastor Clyde Leeds officiating. A private burial was in Cumberland Heights Memorial Gardens. The family requests that no flowers be sent. Arrangements were made by Layne Funeral Home, Altamont, TN.

WILKINSON, BESSIE, BERNICE, age 92, of Pelham, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at her home. She was a native of Walden, Georgia, a daughter of the late Dennis C. Rich and Bessie Maggie Clements Rich and was preceded in death by her husband, Harry M. Wilkinson. She attended Highland Park Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, David Lee (Sandra) Wilkinson of Pelham and Harry Richard (Ervina) Wilkinson of Bellvue, Washington; sisters, Doris Colleen Haskins, Macon, Georgia; brother, Dennis C. Rich, Panama City, FL; 4 grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday, December 9 in the chapel of Cumberland Funeral Home with Reverend John Burge officiating. Burial was in Warren Cemetery. PINTYE, LINDA, GAYLE, CURTIS, age 34, of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012 in Middle Tennessee Medical Center. She was born in Coalmont, Tennessee on July 7, 1978 was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mitchell Curtis, Pauline Curtis, and Jimmy Hampton. She graduated from Grundy County High School and Middle Tennessee State University. She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, an adoring “Mommy” to pet Harley and puppies, Fredo and Jersey and was a devoted friend and a true inspiration to all fortunate in knowing her. Survivors include her husband, Michael Pintye of Murfreesboro; parents, Darrell and Debra Curtis of Tracy City; brother, Greg and his wife, Tiffany Curtis of Tracy City; sisters, Christie Curtis Laws and Valerie Curtis both of Mountain City; maternal grandmother, Betty Hampton of Tracy City; three nieces, one nephew and two great-nephews; father and mother-in-law, Michael and Maria Pintye of Columbia; brother-in-law, Christopher Pintye of Columbia; her husband’s grandmother, Maria Rotondo of Trenton, New Jersey. Funeral services were held Saturday, December 8 in the funeral home chapel with Reverend James Caldwell officiating. Burial was in Orange Hill Cemetery. DYKES, CLIFFORD, EUGENE, age 88, of Tracy City, Tennessee, passed away Monday, December 10, 2012 at The Bridge in Monteagle. He was a farmer and had been a coalminer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy Dykes and Hallie Sanders Dykes; wife, Byrtle Dykes; brothers, Alf and Lonnie dykes; sisters, Edna Roberts and Elsie Orange. Survivors include his children, Opal and her husband Sonny Meeks of Coalmont, Dennis and his wife, Debbie Dykes of Tracy City; brothers, Benny, Charles, Ray and Tiny Dykes all of Tracy City; grandchildren, Jeff and Jason Meeks, Chris and Heather Dykes; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 12 in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Larry Campbell officiating. Burial was in Gregg Cemetery.
